We’ve been making photos together
for over ten years.
WE WERE ONCE ADVENTUROUS NOMADS WANDERING BETWEEN SUNSETS AND MOUNTAINtops.
NOW we’re HOMEBODIEs + artists quietly savoring the little things in life.
We started as a freelance web design team and became a wedding photography business in 2010. Justin earned a Master’s degree from Savannah College of Art and Design in 3d Animation and is a full-time professor in the field; he is also pursuing a career as a lighting artist for 3d animation. Mallory is currently earning her Master’s degree from Kent State University and is a part-time college adjunct and workshop instructor of drawing and photography. We have happily worked side by side since the early 2000s and look forward to this next chapter of our creative careers.
Together, in 2017 we founded a collective of associate wedding photographers called The Heartlanders Collective to keep our business going in Northeast Ohio while we took to the road for a few years of nomadic living. Nowadays, we document select, meaningful, and personal weddings for genuine humans while pursuing other creative endeavors.
